As a friendly advice to you , i myself owns a nokia 6230i same as you i was very excited abt it being able to put mmc card into it for storage . But after buying the 512 mmc from kingston dual voltage which is a very popular brand , i insert it into my 6230i and horrors i found that my 6230i had problem adjusting to the " big amt of memory space " the keypad was not responding . Luckily that time i was working at the nokia service centre and my colleague told me to let the hp have some time to accustom to the memory card . She said let uyour hp use the 64mb mmc for a few weeks first then use the higher mmc that you bought because they cannot one shot accept such a big capacity memory card . And i did as what she told me , and now although theres no more problem with the memory card except for the fact that it really lags alot esp when activating and unactivating the keypad lock , it take a long time to go back to " normal " mode . My advice is to just use a mmc storage of ard 64 to 128 will do as it is not built to sustian such big memory capacity .

Why try buying 6233, the new mdoel that replace 6230i. the function is better....

If not, get nokia N73. better than 6233

actually i was using a 32mb memory card.. but sometimes there's still lag issues.. eh guys, i got a qns to ask.. i tried compressing some mp3s to store inside the fone, but tho the fone can read the files, some of them could not be played.. when i used the hp to vieww the details, i realised that those music files that could not be played are under AAC format, while the rest area under mp3 format.. how do i resolve this?
(*when i mean can read but cant play, it means the fone recognise the file as an mp3 file, but when i pressed play, it doesnt play)
