  I am looking to sell my newly acquired iPod Video 5.5G (30GB, White), to fund my purchase of a set of books.

  Dude, don't trash a sale just because you "think" so, amateurish speculation will only cause the resale market to crash. iPods are known to have high resale price.
  
  I am doing a favour to those who might be short of S$50 or S$100 but wants to get the iPod anyway. For those who are fork out the extra 50 bucks, good for them, they can get a brand new set. For those who can't, this is a good chance to own it.
