For your info, IBM T4x series are the last series by IBM before taken over by Lenovo (T6x series). Now, warranty and maintanence is still carried out by IBM (not Lenovo).

but i can definitely say that it still worth around 1k -

it is true that some laptops r a lot cheaper.. but when u compare the quality and reliability... especially when it involves work and business..
high end laptops r more worthwhile..
if u r talking abt using it for leisure of study... a cheap one would do -

I bought this for S$3380 and would be providing the original receipt which I just found it (although u dont need this for warranty, warranty status is with IBM which u can view it from website). -
