first 6 Vampire Hunter D books in English.For those who dont know, the original excellent 17 books were written in Japanese in the 1980's and have expanded to comic books and cartoon movies.
They are set in the Year 12090 AD.
After humans almost destroyed themselves in a nuclear war in the 21st Century, Vampires ruled the world for thousands of years. However, Humans rebelled and now vampires are almost gone, and Humans once again control the world. However, there are many supernatural threats that need to be faced. Vampire Hunters exist for this job, and the best of them is a vampire hunter called "D".
Last year, they were finally translating them into English. So far, 6 of the 17 have been released.
They are a very good read and most are not available in Singapore.
