Selling a Nikon 8800. Bought on impulse about 1 year 3 months back when i wanted to go for a trip to Japan. Other than that time, used only a few more times locally. Recently bought another original Nikon battery for $148 as i planned to go holidays in rural areas of Cambodia where there are no electric supply but trip was cancelled.
Reason i chosed this on top of the other DSLRs is the reason that i am not a perfectionist in phototaking, i just take some scenary and portrait shots. I needed something that use it to take videos too, yet give me high resolution photos so i can print them in A2 size posters. Although DSLRs can give me good photos with different lenses, i wasnt prepared to bring so many lenses when i go overseas. Another setback is DSLR doesnt allow video recording and i was immediately amazed by the video quality of Nikon 8800. which i can say its one complete camera for all round use. One more plus is that i got quite shaky hands, especially when taking photos in poorly litted areas and without flash, the VR (Vibration Reduction feature) allows me to take better quality photos.
Condition of the set is immaculate. Used in total less than 15 times (1 Japan Trip, others all local).
Less than 2000 shots as told by Nikon Service Centre when i brought it in Dec for servicing.
Condition of the set is excellent 9/10 and always inside dry box when not used.
