I bought a wheel chair for my dad last dec. Its very useful since I have to bring him back to TTSH for medical appointment every month. The price of a normal wheel chair not cheap. So I guess TS just wanna selling a wheelchair at a discount price for those who really need it.

I m nt trying that there is no people who maybe interested, but ask yourself how many %tage. that the wheel chair is going to be bought by people of sgforums, i was trying to ask him/her to find another site to sell it.

New ones. if you want the most cheapest, get it at gardian ( correct spelling bo?) only S$199 but damn heavy and many taxi drivers dun like to see this
if you are flaging down his cab. This cant fit nicely into the taxi rear compartment. Driver must secure it wif a thick rope.
New ones. if you want ultra small size, modern looking ( some say chio )and of course very light, then those cost at least S$450. Most of these fit just nice in a taxi rear compartment.
And of course, b4 you want a 2nd hand one, do check if there are stains on the pvc ( some say leather ) lah. If got brown stain, you still want meh?
The one my dad used b4 ( now no longer using, keep inside store room collect dust ) ish in good condition. A way to check how often ish use ish to check the wheel ( some say tire condition/wear rate ).
