Or you can roll a mage since alot of guilds seem to be short on mages lately

You said you're looking for raid caster DPS, well this is your guy. I've geared him towards this and I've never been lower than #1 dps, and threat is a non-issue if you use him right :-) Elemental shaman are great in the fact that their primary dps spell is relatively cheap mana wise, and with my raid crit rate (fully buffed) 44% of the time, its 60% cheaper. The sustainability keeps you on top of the charts, while pumping huge burst and crits on trash too. Its the definition of raid dps, it covers all grounds. And if things get really tight, you have a decent amount of +healing too!

I've been playing this guy for 2 years now and I'm ready to part with him. I'm in college now and focusing on my artwork more than anything and I cannot have the distraction of video games until I get my portfolio finished.
Because of this desperation I'm willing to cut a very good deal for you. I need 450 dollars for an upcoming conference in Montreal that I would really like to attend, so that is my asking price. The account is Burning Crusade enabled and comes with a level 52 warrior and 45 rogue, both have very good level appropriate gear with various rare purples and blues. There are also a few lower level characters too.
The shaman is mostly PvE spec, but you can EASILY switch a few pieces of gear (which are already in his bank/bags) and use him effectively in all types PvP (BG, Arena, etc...).
Stats:
Alchemy(transmute spec) to 375 and Herbalism to 390. I have obtained many rare recipes and transmutes with a couple flasks.
I have obtained EVERY HEROIC KEY, flying mount and Exalted with Cenarion Expedition, Lower City, The Scryers, The Sha'tar and very nearly The Violet Eye.
Unbuffed Stats:
HP: 8346
MANA: 9653
Stamina: 497
Intellect: 465
Bonus Damage: +702 Nature, +659 dmg/healing
Spell Crit Chance: 24.77% base, +11% lighting with talents, +3% all with totem for a total of 38.77%
Hit Rating: 14 (1.11% with +3% from totem for a total of 4.11%)
Penetration: 20
Mana Regen: 54 mana every 5 second while casting, 156 while not casting

I assure you the others I played with do not suck, and the mage that competes with me is fully arena season 2 geared as well as a great player. Elemental shaman are under-rated :-p -

I have been in 3 different end game guilds and the people owning the meters are locks, rogues, mages, shadow priest and no elemental shammy come close to the top. -
Then you havn't had a good one ;-)
Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen :-p
