from what I heard the batteries cost alot more expensive than the flashlight itself. Basically use once and buy another one when batt runs out

True, the batteries will cost you $1.50 per pcs, in which case you will need 2 x cr2016. But STAR-LITE will be launching it's own brand of batteries which will only cost you $2.00/- Cheers

I saw at Beach Road some types. They run from the crappy $5 ones which aren't very bright to the $35 ones which even in bright sunlight nearly blinded me.
Comes in many colours and there's also ultra-violet too.
Guy there advised that the cheap ones are "cheong" ones, and burn out very quickly, best to get the good ones.
Friend bought the "cheong" one and it burnt out in about a month's time. I got a $20 one and after a year, it's still pretty okay. -

Thanks for your comment, but i would like to clear some things here. The $20 stuff is slightly brigther than the ones here, but the ones that I'll selling is definitely good enough to illuminate a room in the dark. The only reason why the "$20" can last longer is because they are using premium batteries. Even the $20 ones can have a lot of complains.
here's the statistic:
The $20 ones will last you abt 12 hrs (emitting at 5400 mcd) if you on the light continuously.
The $5 ones will last for at least 6 hrs (emitting at 4500 mcd).
If you were to compare, I still can have lights for 12 hrs continuously at ONLY $10. -
