What's the diff between this and the CX-300?

The CX500 will attenuate about minus -10dB to 15dB of ambient noise depending on the quality of the ear canal seal achieved. They come with different sized silicon eartip sleeves in single & double-flanged designs (each in S/M/L) included in the packaging and feature a volume slider integrated into the cable which folks who hate fiddling with the volume control on the player will appreciate. The cord is about 4ft long and terminates to a right-angle gold-plated 3.5mm mini-plug. Also included in the CX500 accessories kit is a cable shirt clip, handy cable winder, and carrying pouch for convenient handling & storage.

From my point of view, I just like the sound that CX-500 gives... the sound isolation is wonderful coupled with the good body that the music gave... superb earphones. -
