why keep on stressing on the naval diver point?Originally posted by endo456:Totally true bro!!! I own 2 other Surefire ones which costed me S$320 each and only gives a max output of 150 Lumens(which is already damn bright) or go to any Home-Fix store in S'pore and look for the most expensive Pelican flashlight and you'll see it cost S$129 for a lowly 42Lumens and can go to a depth of abt 100M and made of plastic some more!!! And no normal person dives to 100M lor.I was a naval diver and the Fenix served me really well and it can go to a depth of 50M(good enough)
Hmmm...sense some hostility here...you COM ah?if yes,i understand bro...heh.Originally posted by chanjyj:why keep on stressing on the naval diver point?
Some of us here are also "elite" troops and don't need to keep on having "naval diver naval diver" blasted into our faces.\
Sure, torch is good. (Pelican is expensive, maglite is useless). I am not sure about surfire, but there are other brands around you can also look at lah.
Anyway up for your sales, I am not condemning it.

Mentioned it time and again(actually its twice only lor) cos its for the benefit of others out there to know that this flashlight has been 'field and water tested' to the most extreme conditions.
And considering the fact that i've tried and tested all the other high-end brands so as to know what works or at least which one has better value for money.
I'm sure you're not condemning it...and thanks for upping it for me bro...can I ask, since you mentioned that there are other brands out there...maybe you would like to enlighten/intro us??Or at least tell us that you know of another brand which will produce at least 200 Lumens and cheaper than $90 cos I'm sure I'll be damn interested.Thank you in advance bro
So...I sincercely apologise if somehow I offended you by mentioning that I'm a NAVAL DIVER(sorry again)...Oh and by the way....I'M DAMN PROUD OF IT!!! In fact I'm damn proud of ALL the other units, whether its army, navy(its ok i mention navy right?) or airforce!!!
No hard feelings my friend![]()
