why selling?

Reasons are-
1) Sim Lim also selling new one for 40+
2) This speaker due to its design (with mic in the controls) will have this piak piak sound all the time. Its an inherent problem so ban leong also wont change for you. Some says if you place the controller far far away then the problem will go away, but according to experience, even when the controller is being placed 1 metre away, the "distortion" is still there.

piak piak sound?
bad design due to the wrong placement of the mic, and possibly inadequate shielding of the internal wires within the shroud. otherwise, ignoring the mic, its sound quality is actually quite good.

yup. without the piak piak sound, the sound from this set is actually great.. but the sad thing is there is no way you can disable the mic... dumb right? piak piak sound as in those sounds you hear when you turn on your speakers TOO loud those sound... it sounds like when you do a light flick of your finger against a piece of paper..
