Was told by their salesperson in their Park Mall shop that their stuff is imported from Australia, Spain etc. But while shopping in neighbouring shops, was told by other shop's salesperson that most of their sofas and dining sets are actually locally made.
Haven't bought anything, but does anyone know if their furnitures are really imported? I mean if a imported leather sofa cost $8k and more, how do we really know if it is genuinely imported. And supposedly if we buy them on the premise that it is imported from Australia when it is not, is there any recourse?
Can help feeling a little skeptical after their competitor's remarks. Or maybe they are just competitor's remarks...
Air Division has locally made stuff as well as imported stuff.
In any case, u are buying niche products, meaning designer and probably it could be the only piece of that particular design. Thus the expensive price tags. They have their own in house brands like Royce and i think brands like Pedrali are not owned by them. but brought in from Italy or some country in Europe haha
Thanks gasband for the insight. But that was exactly my point, they told us that their in house brand ie. "air" sofas are from australia. We were also told that "royce" is imported from spain. Which is quite in line with the high price that the pieces are commanding as compared to other imported stuff that we are looking at. She seem genuine when she said it and we did not think much of it actually until we had a chat with some shops around there.

well u can verify with them again. Royce if I am not wrong, is created by them. They could mean that the products are made in those countries like Spain etc although the brand is their creation.
just found out that indeed air division furnitures in particular air and royce branded stuff are actually made in singapore. we made an anonymous phone call to them to ask in specific and after some confusing explanation they said so themselves. we now think its just all basically a cover-up for justifying their prices. sigh...
hey actually Air Division furniture is pretty unique, so doesnt matter it is made in Singapore or what. As long u like it! In any case, you can go to places like Park Mall or the IFC to get more choices where you can get quality furniture too.
