You are quite misinformed my pitiful child. In fact, go to army market at Beach Rd and you can buy army boots, SBO, full pack, uniform, beret etc. Only restricted items like weapons parts cannot be bought and sold without authorisation. The above WTS offer is completely legal. Please refrain from making inane comments.

Who wants to get army shoes with real money where i can get it using free credits.. use and throw away... i rather spend $260 on a good pair of shoes like Asics Kayano 15...

All you had to do was to ask the uncle at the eMart.
He would have told you that New Balance is for low arches, and Brooks is for high arches. I've also seen posters at various eMarts saying that.
Even if the uncle didn't know that, and there were no such posters, did you even try out the shoes first before buying them....?

Haha, let me, the pitiful child rephase. Buying army equipment from emart using ur entitled credits and selling the equipment for cash is illegal.
i think airgrinder may be right. checking the military law book:
44. every person subject to military law who misapplies or wastefully expends any saf property shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction by a subordinate military court to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or any less punishment authorised by this act.
think this may cover emart credits as well.

It is like banning chewing gums but nobody really cares even if you take chewing gum in the public

Sure if you are a Sporean male you can get the NBs for free but there is a market for non-NSmen who don't care to spend a lot of money on running shoes.
Besides, why spend so much money on running shoes if I can run 8:52min for 2.4km using the SAF ones?
SOLD. Thx for patronage Mr T.
I spent $149 on a pair of Nike Free 3.0, and I tell you running in it is like magic. I can't describe it.![]()

Yes I tried them but you won't know the feeling until you've run in the shoes. Anyway, I'm an NSman who ORDed long time ago, I got them when I went back to camp for a short MOB briefing, did not have time or patience to ask questions.

There are lots of advertisements on local buy-&-sell websites of people offering to sell their personal SAF shoes. Besides, I'm a 35 yr old reservist. I don't care much about military regulations anymore.
Again, item is SOLD. Quite a popular item.
