Frankly speaking, ship notes are not worth much. At most about 5% on top of face value only.
Hence your two $2 orange ship notes are only worth about $2.20 each (in mint condition). Judging from your pics, it is crumpled with lots of folds, hence only worth $2.
The notes that are really worthy are the Orchid notes.

Even if you get the orchid notes I wonder who will want to buy it at a more expensive price..

Just because you don't buy, doesn't mean other people don't buy.
Numismatics collectors are few in Singapore but doesn't mean there are NO people buying.
TS, I also do have this $2 note and the numbers are in order but i not selling as i think the economy have not rises yet. So maybe wait for another couple of years? Just my 2 cents.

If your note's serial no. is 123456, 111111, 222222, 333333, 888888...etc, then it's a different story.
Then again, even if got such golden nos, still need to be orchid notes then really worth ALOT ALOT..... Again, it's all about orchid notes!

old notes not like stock market.. theres no market price for it..
only collectors will buy it at a premium, and the premium is mutually agreed price.. also no fixed premium..
fyi folks, saw a shop in chinatown, sell $10 orchid at $15.. so can see.. the premium also not very big

No, there's a unspoken market rate for all orchid notes, esp higher end notes like
i) $5 orchid note with GKS signature = $300+
ii) $100 orchid note with GKS signature = $600–800+
For $10 orchid note to be selling @ $15, it must be in quite bad condition with some creases/stain/tears/holes. Market rate for $10 Orchid note is around $30+ in UNC condition (no crease, no tear, no hole, no stain - practically like 99% mint).
i) $5 orchid note with GKS signature = $300+
ii) $100 orchid note with GKS signature = $600–800+
hello friend , what you said true or not ?

Yes.. Those are the selling prices (sellers selling to you) I gathered from coin shops and fleamarkets.
For buying-in price (you sell to sellers), I'm sure it would be slightly lower.
