Hi. I'm from pakistan and am planning to travel to singapore for 6 weeks. I needed an accomodation for this time period and unfortunately i'm on a very tight budget. I was hoping for some advice on short term accommodation from this forum.
I have looked at hotels, they are mostly much too expensive. I am looking for a single room for 2 people at SGD 50-60 a night.
Backpackers do not have the kind of space i need for luggage.
IF there are short term rental rooms available, is there any reliable way of locating and booking them?
I have a budget of 1250 SGD for 43 day stay,

becareful and check if its legal to rent out room wihtout official declaration.
also its 43 days this guy from pakistan make sure you check his ID and with immigration if fishy.
doubtful if its vacation becasue they will have a budget for tour else choose cheaper places like india and cheenaland to tour. why cum here?
a possibility that they cum here to work. also note they will use electricity and water so by the time you wait or the utility bills o their last saty they should say they will have to be going. pay outfront they can use as much as they like.
also they may be criminals using your home as staging area. so be careful.

please heck first if you are breaking th law.
why? becasue when and if teh second situaiton were to occure concurrently, you may have problem seeking help from the law when you are breaking the law in the frist place.
back to the 'second situation'.
pleasechec and double check with mom immigration whatever on the information of the person to rent your cousin's place. ask them to provide all information tehy can on how manmy wil be staying at the place, what is teh purpose of their visit, a scan of their poassports and IDs.
dont play play, when thigns really happen then crybabybaby its too late.

even angmohs if backpackers on budget if dare spend one night in such motels per bed rates is only about 20 bucks.
i just find it weird for pakitan people to cum here without any money enuff for logding to tour , else is actually donin somethign else.

1250 for 43 days is about 29 bucks per day. even our foriegn cheap talent the bangls (even can not that spendthrift than cheeenaland cheenas) cannot beat this record. you trourist can? huat arh!
