Driving up to Penang

  I joined the Singtel 8th Charity Drive which starts on this saturday. The drive is from the 2nd link to Penang. I will be driving Toyota Altis which is abt 2 months old. Will there be any problems for a new car to go on a long distance before the car has travelled 5000km? Heard from people that it might damage the engine. Any comments??? Thx.

  it's a very good opportunity to run in your engine...nothing will go wrong just drive up to penang!! enjoy your journey..
  
  Remember to maintain your speed..!Do not go Full throttle till penang cause it might damage ur engine..

  jz maintain yr speed ard 100 to 110 should be ok.by the way,pls be careful after u pass sg besi toll cos from KL to Ipoh that h.way always got speed trap.
  
  speed at h.way in M'sia still at 110kmh.
  
  so enjoy yr trip.
