Please allow me to add that the iPOD is a 2nd Gen Touch Pad and not a 1st as you have proven to know so much about.
That was why the photo was uploaded, not to mislead but to clarify
all doubts.
iPod- Roughly a year old.
Samtron Monitor-Bought in Feb 04.
iBook-Bought in Xmas Dec 03.
Now with about two items still under
warranty, you call that overpriced?

Hardware warranty for ALL Macs (not sure if it includes iPod) I believe is One-year standard. Prior to the ending of the warranty, A extended 3-year Applecare is encouraged to buy.
Thanks for your correction abt the iPod thingy housemartiniz.
For everyone's info, you could get better deals on Mac Hardware at SL than getting it online. Look for the authorised Apple resellers there.
Well, at least the revised price now looked more attractive.
