  my first gamebook was "The warlock of the firetop mountain"
  
  by steve jackson and lan living stone... i think they republished it already and are on sales in popular book stores..
  
  I played and played so many times till i remember page 122 was the scene you supposed to fight a few zombies... so fun!
  
  that's where i start to read english books since then if not.. i just cast any books aside and watch TV.. haha
