This Sunday (13 June 2004), Dunman Secondary School will be holding a plants sale at the Tampines Changkat Sunday Market at Block 137, Tampines Street 11. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The plants available are spiderwort, spearmint, indian basil (tulsi), japanese rose (portulaca), marigold, morning glory and ornamental chilli. All the plants are grown using a hydroponics system to ensure quality.
The prices of the plants will range from $4 to $12, lower than the wholesale price of around $12 to $20. The reason why the plants cost so little is because the sale is conducted by students in an entrepreneurship cum science enrichment program.

You can take bus nos. 8, 18 or 292 from Tampines Bus Interchange to the sale. There will be large signages after the bus stop outside Block 103 to guide you to the sale. Motorists, please exit from PIE at Exit 4A into Simei Ave, turn right into Tampines Ave 2, then turn right into Tampines Street 11.
