yes, but u don't always have the model u want, and by the time u bid and include shipping, it's probably gonna cost the same as mine or more, and it might not even be insured, so u got no money, no lighter. my method of payment is on the spot, would ebay sellers let u pay only when u get your stuff? think before you make unnecessary comments. i'm saving u guys the hassle. if u think i'm trying to cheat, then go ahead and buy from local retailers for all i care

how would u feel if for example, someone stands at the entrance of your stall and tells people who walk in, "hey, XXX shop sells the same stuff cheap". besides, there's already ebay ads for zippos in the left column, i'm sure forum users can see for themselves, don't have to announce in my thread

In my opinion, EBay gets lesser hits than what you get in forums.. Plus, Ebay.com.sg does not really have much members and the stuffs there are limited..
whisperer, if you're really selling Zippos which I can get 40% off normal retail price, I wouldn't mind getting a few design ones from you.. I have 3 Zippos, but all 3 do not have designs, and I paid a rather hefty price for them.. Really regretted doing so..
Anyway, if I pick on a design I like at the Zippo site, I'll let you know then maybe we can discuss further and stuff? Many thanks in advance.. =) -

But ebay.com is an international site.. Meaning you have to pay for the shipping fees and the original price of the lighter (x 1.7 if it is from US).. Sum it all and it'll probably cost as much as the ones in shops in Singapore, or probably even more.. If this guy can get me a 40%, why not look for him?
Anyway, the first three I bought are non-designed ones, so I use them causally instead of collecting them.. Those non-designed ones do not have much value, don't they?
Playing tricks with them is fun too, and using them for my habits is better.. =P -

duh, get from the seller here lah. by the time he sends my stuff over, its a long time cos i always collate to the nearest .5kg so dat i make gd use of the shipping $. my friend help me collate most of the time, although moteng deals with zippo as well but not much and he can't possible order just a few zippo cos shipping to him is free if he hits certain amt and stuff like dat.Originally posted by error303:I see.. shipping from US to here is abt 9-11 days by air and a few weeks by sea.
check with the guy here, if his price is right then buy from him loh. u get to check it too. -
