Giant Euro-wasp invasion warningPeople are being warned to watch out for huge wasps from Europe that have started to inhabit parts of Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Their football-sized nests are being found in garden shrubs and bushes and can contain up to 20,000 insects.
The "super wasps" belong to a strain which grows to more than twice the size of the native British species.
Wasps spread across the country when a female leaves the nest and finds a safe place to hibernate through the winter.
