Hello! Since this is the nature forum, thot I'll ask - what's a good remedy for sandfly bite? It's driving me crazy.

Hmm...the latest one i think was from my blk downstairs. A couple of bites from Bali almost 4 wks ago are still itching...terrible!

I'm surprised...coz usually after 1 wk, those I have would be gone, but not those from Bali...tot bang!

Actually, on my 2nd day there...the bombing happened....we heard it from a street away....and were at the Kuta Raja rest. (which got bombed) in the afternoon.

Ya, quite lucky, in a way. We thot it was a kitchen explosion until we went back to hotel and saw the news.
No we stayed on, bec. it's not as if the whole Bali is dangerous, just the kuta-legion areas which are full of ang mohs. Also, we were already booked to go to Ubud in the north the next day, so moving away from Kuta. The ubud ppl aren't bothered by whatever bombing at all...they say it doesn't bother them.
But a few days after the bombing, we could see the business immediately dropped. Quite sad ...business had just picked up for them a year ago, since the 2002 bombing. -

ya, these are ppl are innocent and yet have to suffer the effects of such terrorist acts...but i believe they r resilient n will spring back again....nothing to fear actually -
