Cat's flu is gone...chest is clear. But overall not so strong coz he has the feline version of aids...though early stage. It's common among strays...dun worry, not transferable to humans.![]()

It was reported in the Chinese "Wo Pao" - the taxi drivers aren't happy too, they asked 3 questions: why let passengers bare the fare increase, why not lower taxi rental which were fixed in those days of high COEs which had dropped now, why not drop ERP for taxis?Originally posted by poon cho tang:ya, they say it will increase their salaries n improve service, of course at the expense of poor commuters

they are at the mercy of the taxi companies anyway, now they r also at the mercy of disgruntled passengers....well it's still a commercial decision unlike buses n mrt which affects many more pplOriginally posted by Wanda:It was reported in the Chinese "Wo Pao" - the taxi drivers aren't happy too, they asked 3 questions: why let passengers bare the fare increase, why not lower taxi rental which were fixed in those days of high COEs which had dropped now, why not drop ERP for taxis?
It's called FIV positive for cats - can be transferred to other cats through blood or open wounds (just like human aid, but only to cats). There's also feline cancer leh...i think it's called FIP+.![]()
no act, already oneOriginally posted by Wanda:Thank u thank u. Have to wake up, but act like a zombie....![]()
Yep, something like that. Sorry I can't remember the name now, but it will be easy to to find with a search or google. Feline aids can be common among stray, but we don't know bec nobody sends them for blood tests under normal circumstances. Cats can get it through cat fights (eg scratches and biting with some bloodshed), but I wonder how the very "first spreader" cat (so to speak) got it.Originally posted by poon cho tang:they are at the mercy of the taxi companies anyway, now they r also at the mercy of disgruntled passengers....well it's still a commercial decision unlike buses n mrt which affects many more ppl

That's quite a good overview. In the late stage, they will suffer, so much so that sometimes it's better to end it for them.Originally posted by poon cho tang:it's called Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP)

Oh, it's not yet. This cat hasn't got the clinical signs now, i.e. no congestion in the chest or loss of appetite, no weight loss, so can live as per normal downstairs, but can't afford to be ill, coz immune system is not so great.Originally posted by poon cho tang:so ur plan now is just to make it as comfy as possible?
so it's just FIP+, something like HIV+Originally posted by Wanda:Oh, it's not yet. This cat hasn't got the clinical signs now, i.e. no congestion in the chest or loss of appetite, no weight loss, so can live as per normal downstairs, but can't afford to be ill, coz immune system is not so great.
