Need help in identifying flowering plant...

  There's a kind of flowering plant with straight, upright leaves about 6-9 inches tall, and produces white to cream-colored flowers.

  Really don't have a photo... but the leaves are straight and they look somewhat like spring onions!

  chives are NOT spring onions
  
  chives are flat
  spring onions are hollow
