Yar, duno why volume damn soft. Must adjust television volume to super high.

Oh, CCTV4. Some chinese channel, my mom chose it.

Actually, we got to know about this channel when travelling in China, but I think the programs offered by Mio is not as nice as in China.
There's supposed to be many travelogues type of show, like almost everynite. I think we got cheated.

My mom got scammed by the promoter. She asked what kind of program CCTV4 is and the salesman told her, "Loads of variety show."
Well, but you can always call once a month to change the channel you subscribed. -

Their prog...hmm...got variety lah depending on channel, but CCTV focuses on news, human stories (e.g. how the poor or in the dumps struggled to do well), and some docu-info shows like travel, animal documentaries, etc. But one thing I notice they don't show bad news or anything bad that reflects the govt de.
If we don't call, will the subscription automatically continue?

Erm i think you will be risking your life to reflect something bad about the govt in a communist state where the press and media is quite controlled.
Yar, you will just have the same channel for some zillion years. Until you call to stop subscription from mioTv or request for a change in channel.
Must remember after 6 months the subscription fees will kick in. -

Ok, thanks for the reminder about the sub. fees. I was thinking of buying BBC knowledge channel but i see the schedule...it has the same programmes every day and only release one new prog a week (on average). So...

Hmm, a new programme a week doesn't sound too appealing.
Actually Cable tv is sort of better imo. National geographic and discovery channel sure beats the boring shows on mioTv.
And again, the free movies doesn't change, for so long.
