i oso cannot even remember what was 171 like when during sbs time liao although i had travelled on it quite frequently. i think i have travelled on sbs 171 more than i haf on smrt 171

SBS 171 served e Zoo as wellSBS really served Bt Panjang well... more than half of e trunk svs are at least w/ aircon buses back in 1993 which was considered very good alrdy
tat time Svs like 74 or 154 was totally non aircon

wa so fast get bag. so happy sia
i onli took 171 between dunearn/bkt timah to town stretch so i dun haf much memory abt the zoo destination
majority of others non-aircon last time
i cannot remember 190 double decker at all. in my mind now is 190 single deck
Service 5 i take before from Bt Merah Bus Interchange till PIE expressway before Toa Payoh. when it travels past the Great World to Far East stretch is slow due to traffic
my fren told me she take 5 from Bt Merah Bus Interchange back till her home in Pasir Ris, she took at 10~pm and reached home around 12~am. she scared liao and never ever want to take sv 5 again
another thing is the new Svc 128 has cancelled it's route via Toa Payoh. now from Yio Chu Kang it will go via Ang Mo Kio and goes out along Thomson to continue it's way down

Bt Merah to Pasir Ris by Sv 5 entire journey takes ~ 100 mins to completeFar East tat stretch is cos of junction bottleneck
