I called the HP personnel but they couldn't solve it through the phone.
I have to bring it down to their service centre tmr. Got warranty..

Never mind, I bring it down there, got straight bus. But not today, 'cos I have stg on in the afternoon. Probably tmr instead. Now the laptop is functioning well, can do anything, just without sound.
