Doritos Chip that looks like the Pope's Hat up for auction
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Salem, MA – March 12 - A Doritos Chip that amazingly resembles the Pope’s Mitre (a.k.a. His Holiness’ “really tall hat”) was found in a bag of Doritos "Nacho Cheesier Doritos" this evening, according to The Chadwick family of Salem, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.
After much deliberation amongst the family about what to do with the chip, it was decided that it would be unfair to not share it with the world. Following the recent trends of auctioning religious memorabilia, the chip was immediately ushered to a late-night photo session and then posted on the worldwide auction site, eBay.
The chip’s online auction listing states “the auction is for just this chip and the empty bag as the rest of the chips were consumed while creating this listing.” Bidding had begun at $3.29, which the description says is “to cover the cost of a replacement bag.”
The item is being listed purely for humorous reasons and the family is happy to have found this rarity at a time when the PopeÂ’s health continues to improve after his recent hospitalization.

This woman was exposed as a fraud. The finger is real, it belongs to a friend of her husband who had severed his finger...n yes, he kept it as a memento or sth.. She was just trying to deceive Wendy's of a few millions. Thats what the Wendy comissioned investigators say.Originally posted by rainee:

The manager contacted the raw materials department but had not yet found any information regarding the origin of the finger. The case was put under investigation.

Hot to trot Oregon suitor turns self into hunk of burning love to propose
GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) - To prove his love, a 38-year-old man set himself on fire before going down on one knee and asking his girlfriend to marry him.
About 100 people gathered to watch Todd Grannis perform the flaming stunt Monday, which involved wearing a cape soaked in gasoline.
Grannis climbed up a three-metre-high scaffold, was set on fire and then plunged into a swimming pool, dousing the blaze. Emerging unscathed, he went down on one knee and proposed, as a friend standing nearby slipped him the engagement ring.
"Honey, you make me hot," he told his sweetheart, Malissa Kusiek.
"I hope I'm getting the point across that I'm on fire for you."
Kusiek, who has been dating Grannis for several years, said "yes" but added she was a little angry because of the danger.
"At first I was mad, because I thought: 'He's not a stuntman,"' Kusiek said.
"Then, of course, the tears started flowing. Of course I said yes."
"I was so thrilled."
Grannis said he came up with the stunt through the help of his friend, professional stuntman Eric Barkey.
Barkey pulled out a photo of himself on fire and said: "You could do that," Grannis said.
Grannis met Kusiek, the owner of a local hair salon, when she cut his hair.
"I kept telling her sometime before I'm 50," said Grannis, who co-owns an Internet wholesale company.
"She wasn't expecting it. She had no clue." -
One Way To Get People Out
A 46-year-old man allegedly set his own home on fire in order to get two visitors to leave, police said.
Dean Craig was charged with felony arson after allegedly splashing rubbing alcohol on the floor of the two-story home in Aurora Township and using a lighter to ignite the fire around 1 a.m. Sunday, the Kane County Sheriff's office said.
When authorities arrived at Craig's home, which is owned by his mother, it was engulfed in flames, police said. Craig and his two guests were not injured.
Craig allegedly had asked two visitors to leave, but when they refused, he threatened to light his house on fire, police said.
Craig was being held Monday at the Kane County Jail on $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 9. -
