Must memorize until you die. If the paper is too easy (e.g. MCQ) you will die unless you are ultra carefull. For a 40 question paper, you must score at least 35 and above to secure a B+. If the paper is very hard and you can do reasonably well for it then an A+ is most likely yours.
Open Book exam
If its those where you muz bring in 1 A4 size "cheat sheet" one then be prepared to bring magnifying glass. If you are truly shen, go for font size 3 then print it out.
I saw a friend bring in magnifying glass, he got an A for the exam
If its those open notes/book one and you have several textbooks then it all depends on your luck. If you heng heng can find everything with one flip then the exam is yours. Of course, carefull labelling with post tabs is a must
best is to type your own concised notes. for my course, i will do a table of the key concepts i need to know. certain definitions, ways of application, names.Originally posted by rainee:dun have several books, but got lots of handouts...dats y so messy
For open book exams, students should be provided with wide desktops.. so that one can spread out the papers/graphs/encyclopedias that one brings..Originally posted by rainee:dun have several books, but got lots of handouts...dats y so messy
Exactly!Originally posted by DriftingGuy:For open book exams, students should be provided with wide desktops.. so that one can spread out the papers/graphs/encyclopedias that one brings..
Instead they provide a miserable square table where one leg will always be shorter than the other leg
they want you to use your handouts to slot under table leg to balance table. it is a conspiracy.Originally posted by DriftingGuy:For open book exams, students should be provided with wide desktops.. so that one can spread out the papers/graphs/encyclopedias that one brings..
