so is there such a thing called e long term side effect?Originally posted by renorenal:The most common side effects shall be infection or sepsis (blood infection, as a complication of local infection)...
It depends on the method of abortion procedure carried out... so far the only one available is Dilatation and Currettage (or more commonly known as D&C)...
The competency of the person doing it is very important... if some of the conception products is left behind, this can lead to sepsis and also blood coagulation disorders...
The second most important side effect or implication would be local injuries (cervical tear, vaginal trauma or uterus trauma during insertion of the instruments)...

oi, must respect privacyOriginally posted by hisoka:alfagal seriously contemplating abortion arh?
So far, no long term side effects are noted if it is intentionally caused... there are other types of unintentional abortion / miscarriage...Originally posted by alfagal:so is there such a thing called e long term side effect?

No alfagal, it is not placebo...Originally posted by alfagal:dunno if i m asking e right person...
but wat are ur views on aromatherapy?
do they really have effects? or issit pure placebo?
In Malaysia and Singapore, it is for ethical reason... the gahmen don't support abortion since it is life (we shall not dwelve too much on that, as it is a hot debate on when conception and life begins), unless of course it endangers the mother's health (i.e. cardiac disease in pregnancy, severe anemia in pregnancy, severe thyroid problems in pregnancy, severe epilepsy in pregnancy or recurrent asthmatic attacks in pregnancy)...Originally posted by alfagal:LOL....
jus curious..cos heard alot of things everywhere..
its v common in Jap..but how come they still v healthy...in fact, can do abortion even when in its 22nd week of pregnancy...
there mus b reasons y it is not encouraged....
clincs are considered 'outside', does it include those who are gynae and have their own clinc in neighbourhood?Originally posted by renorenal:So far, no long term side effects are noted if it is intentionally caused... there are other types of unintentional abortion / miscarriage...
The chances depends on the specialist doing it for you. If the doctor is skilled and had years of experience, then the chances would be less than 1%, but if one gets the abortion done outside (clinics or unskilled health workers), then the risk can be as high as 50-70%... (percentages varies depending on where you get it done)...

weight loss. standard ways would be the natural way. balanced diet, exercise more, and get enough sleep. cliche but effective
avoid pills as far as possible
Originally posted by hisoka:The commoner ones being used widely is Orlistat, which prevents fat absorption by acting as a fat-binder to the food that you eat...
