I'm amazed at your eye of observation starblue. Things that appear redundant to most people, who're so adapt to the shuffles of hectic city life.
Even in singapore, one thing that always stop me in my tracks regardless of what i'm doing, is the falling of yellowed, withered leaves from the trees. There's this stretch of road in Tampines where trees are planted and shouldered over both sides of the road. Its a rare sight, i find it mesmerising to watch it swirl around after it hit the ground, its a different swirl each time a vehicle goes by. If its a lorry, the leaves tornadoed up higher, moved about with a bigger raidus. If its a normal sized car, smaller swirl, with some of the leaves tailing the vehicle as it goes by.. can't imagine what its like to watch blossoms fall in Japan.
which reminds me... you know this particular kind of tree usually has yellow flowers in bunches. from far, they look like bunches of yellow "grapes" very pretty... those trees outside scgs lah, if u still dunno wad i mean. but there are the same trees with white flowers also..
once, i saw this tree, just at ang mo kio mrt there. the whole tree is full of these white flowers, its as though the whole crown of "leaves" is white... then the wind blew and the flowers just floated down, like snow liddat. and i thought that that was the most beautiful scene i've seen in singapore... really graceful...
