are u from sarawak?Originally posted by ^mR.yellow^86:Sarawak Mee a.k.a kampua mien(in foochow) kan pang mian(in mandarin, means dry plate noodles)
How to cook?
Fly to Sibu, Sarawak.
but a set of kampua noodles.
get ready of -
-a pot of water.
-pork bones
-pork meat
-vinegar
boiled the water.
put the pork bones inside the water and let it boil for at least 1 hours.
boil the noodles inside the water
after 2 minutes, take out the noodles and drain out the water.
boil the pork meat also.
when the pork meat is cooked, mixed it with the noodles.
you can add salt, vinegar, or soya source, but there's a special source for this type of noodles where you can't get it nowadays.
kampua has always been my favourite.
got time pls fly to Sibu, Sarawak and taste it. Only in SIbu, Sarawak. Cannot be found on other City or Town, or the taste is different.
