the muscles that control pupillary dilatation and constriction are the ciliary muscles that are located in the second layer of the eyeballs...
first layer - innermost layer - retina, choroid
second layer - middle layer - iris, ciliary muscles and bodies...
third layer - outer most layer - cornea, sclera -
i got black eyes..
and in a few incidences in my life, i also got a black eye -
