what i am appalled at these days are schools who seem to want to "win awards" rather than educate students..
the school i live close to? i hear the damned principal reciting "Mr XX won the gold award in XXX, the school won the Silver Award for XXX award, the student won the silver in this award..."
as if they're going for the awards on purpose, instead of getting them because their education practises and programs are that good that they win awards.. -
