about the one year after grad paying back in instalments, same prob also... we have the NHEF (national higher education fund) loan where u have to pay back the govt as well, the interests used to be 6% , but will drop to 3% by 2006.
i think in a way, it forces one to work harder lerr... but it's definitely hard to get a job that will help you pay off ur tuition fees anywhere in malaysia... currency exchange problem... furthermore, the economy is downtrend in malaysia now, and that increases the rate even more...
getting a job in spore is better in the end...

But most of the students there are Malay lar... almost 60% of them... that was a drastic jump after a strong encouragement by the MOE and PM to enter science stream... -
