Christmas 04 May 1996
a festival most people enjoy
the air filled with cheerful laughter and joy
time when shrewd businessmen make a killing
because of frenzied customers making all the buying
countdowns are arranged
presents are exchanged
but behind all the frantic craze
does people know the real meaning of Christmas in the first place ?
i profess i dun know
to receive presents is all i know
maybe it's time for some people to explain the purpose of it all
let people like me know what we are celebrating for

those months i have to endure
got to search for a cure
those months i have to conquer
make me want to consume hard liquor
those days i have to make it through
think of it and i feel blue
those hours i have to pray
nothing untoward happens to me before freedom day

for the clock to tick away without my eager aid

embark on his quest
scour for our nest
deranged mind he gains access
madness in excess
in his eyes we are pest
lowest life-form and less
twisted ideas he digests
try it out with vigour and zest

warped thinkings he has
psychotic tendencies he possess
we are pawns in his test
cajole to perform incest
everything's a mess

presence implies peril
unfounded fears
head protrude two horns
rare sight among newborns
rich imagination
swaying arrow-like tail
mortals faces pale
unwarranted anxiety
brandishes three-pronged fork
to tear meat like pork
absurd
possesses hoof-like feet
a remarkable feat
preposterous
music flows from the veins
search the source in vain
ridiculous
all the propositions and conjectures
based on groundless assumptions by nature
foolish fools
devil is no mean creature in reality
just an evil innermost emotion that grows in a decadent society

like anyone, i have dreams
all those subconscious images streams
sometimes i dismiss them as fantasy
but occassionally, they are acted out in reality
so is this dream thing real
if yes, it sure makes my head reel
why do dreams occur ?
to make us believe they concur ?
what a world we live in
with such thing residing within -

the time will come
for us to rebel
the world will be done
sound of the alarm bells
earth will shake
reminiscent of earthquake
mountains will move
stamping of hooves
seas will rise
blocking off sunrise
sky will change
crimson red for blue in exchange
mortals will panic
because we have gathered for the picnic
death tolls will rise
old, young, weak and ill it will comprise
then for mercy they will beg
not stopping until all their souls are in the bag
chaos and disorder will rule
once thriving cities and civilisation in ruins
when all is said and done
we will rejoice for a job well-done
after which we will herald in of a new era and Master
who will lead us to a life of immortality thereafter -

walking in the sands of yesterday
as our footprints indented our memories
so many bittersweet regrets we once had
of a past that refused to fade
swaying trees dance in unison
approaching speck of pink on the horizon
lights shine across the murky waters
and shadows cast by two lost souls
all the sorries we said
all those apologies we made
gushed away, washed away
by the hurtling waves
brought to the brink of deliverance
we strolled into the crashing surf
yet another tragedy for the newspapers
they will mourn our forsaken youth
and all the foolishness they will say
throwing our promising lifes away
but hey we did what we wanted
we walked on the beach that fateful day
but the ripples wouldn't cease
others will suffer because of this
this mockery of a dramatic death
thus questions the sanity of our misguided youth
but its too late
immortalized in tainted sanctity
we live eternally
as we remind people of life in its entity
foolish and misguided till the very end -

just like treasure hunt in a park
uncover those hidden suppressed cryings

beset by natural and man-made disasters
inhabited by wealthy and poor
towards self-destruction faster
ever tried to figure out our decadent society
steeped in violence and crime
reform is low priority
evil at its prime
ever tried to comprehend the behavoirs of mortals
their actions make me puke
goodness they murder
ought to be paraded in public and flogged nude
ever tried to wonder how everything around us fall into place
a link that join all of them together
pity minds are moving at snail's pace

waste drop into the pool
pool of waste
fluid flow into the pool

mingle with liquid
when all is released and done
left none
wipe clean the part
soiled tissue into the pool, parked
do the necessary
finish up
pull down the handle
liquid burst forth
soft and tender
glimpses of it before it's lost
swirling pool of mini-cyclone
suck all into the black hole
leave behind an exotic fragrance

adrenalin surge up my veins
pumping and racing towards euphoria
i see a kaleidoscope
colourful and flashy lights spinning around
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
shinning and twinkling like the stars
i see haze and smoke rising up from the ground
carrying all objects to the sky
they transform into multiple images
invading here, there and everywhere
i feel the soothing sensation seep through my brain
building towards a grand climax
a few minutes of heaven
my precious haven
ooh...what a wonderful feeling
lift me up to the ceiling

something Man consume to gain strength, help to develop and live
without which the whole body system stop functioning and take leave
all things deem edible are eaten
be it beef, pork, mutton, fish, vegetable or chicken
styles include boil, bake, fry and toast
stew, steam, grill and roast
Man is simply the expert in food
perhaps one day they will turn to liver, heart, brain, thighs, eyes,
hands and foot ?
a gruesome and far-fetched idea you may say
but at the alarming rate Man evolve and devour, that scenario may
just come to stay ! -

i support Nottingham Forest Football Club
an activity for me to indulge
amidst the city's hub
now here's their history
a fairy-tale story
1865 it was formed
Forest Football Club it was called
'Forest' referred in the club name was Forest Racecourse or Recreation Ground
moved to present home in 1898 named City Ground
honours came few and far
2 FA Cup victories in 1898, 1959, coupled with 2nd division titles
in 1907, 1922 so far
1975 heralded of great achievements to come
indeed Brian Clough and Peter Taylor did come
under their partnership,
Forest finally won their first league Championship
it was in 1978
and gave all their sceptics a heartache
followed which winners of other titles come up ...

1977 Anglo-Scottish Cup
1989 Simod Cup
1992 Zenith Data Systems Cup
Forest's foray into foreign compeitions brought them fame
sending their local counterparts to shame

all in all, Forest a good fighter
but i like to term them hunter

Giving Birth 21 May 1996
an act so sacred and vital to ensure Man's continued existence
bestow upon women to carry out that duty with Man as assistant
however, nowadays, women are getting more educated
their thinking, more sophisticated
they postphone the mandatory duty
so afraid that after they have given birth, they will lose their present
beauty
they want to be on equal terms in career opportunities as Man
so they work hard to achieve that aim and forget all about the need for
the existence of Man
they want to be free from the burden of looking after the child
so they avoid like a plague any notion of even having a child !
they are scared of the excruciating pain involved
so they take the easy way out by refusing to fulfil their obligations
in a firm resolve
if such trends are left unchecked
very soon Man will be on the extinction track
women, please rediscover your innate abilities
let that threat remains a remote possibility -
