  yah.. good oils like sunflower seed oil, canola oil or other polyunsaturated oils get transformed into a semi-solid oil.. like margarine... the stuff is easier to transport and that's the rationale for changing it into a semi-solid...
  
  a good oil is turned into a terrible type oil which causes remarkable increases in the absorbtion and production of cholestrol in the body...
  
  in other words, trans fat will kill you eventually...
  
  do a google on it... find out and educate yourself...
  
  btw, ALL stuff in the deep-fat fryer of fast-food restaurants is fried in this type of oil..
