alternatively, there are some products that can b used on wet hair and blown dry to give straight hair on top of ur straightened hair...
guess e effect varies from one person to another lor.. -

in perming, they also break down S-S bonds using reducing agent, but when in the curlers, they add oxiding agent = form new bonds, using e curls of the curler as a 'mould'
