i learnt that in math, you have to unlearn a lot of things before you get it.. and once you get it, you wonder how come you never thought of it that way
also in math, you have to get rid of this "i cannot" attitude.. i've seen people spend more time and energy trying to convince everyone that they cannot... i bet if they used that energy and had someone to show them the way, they'd go through math easily -

Agreed. I only understood this when I started re-learning A Maths from scratch. Tough, but once understood, it's like ABC. But have to practise though. Some problems in Maths really cannot. For me, 3D and vectors are no-no. Tried as I might and with help, I still fail this part very badly.

vectors.. are numbers with directions.. so i guess it's all 3D anyway...
you gotta use your imagination to see what they are looking for...
