I think she meant that the cadet couldnt handle the recoil n prolly lost control of the revolver. cos backfrie in a revolver is pretty uncommon, unless ur talking about chambeer explosion. which is also highly unlikely. well, gun safety is always the first priority.Backfiring could be due to a loose chamber clip, or improper loading of rounds.
But I'm not too familiar with revolvers.. but if a rifle backfires, the entire charging handle assembly could fly out, but no chance of the bullet hitting anyone.
