Bmp = bitmap. Sorta the uncompressed version of the image. Image size is very big compared to jpg.
Jpg = I think it's called Joint Picture (E dunno what) Group. Ideal picture format for web based viewing. File size will vary using the compression mode. In normal circumstances for a high grade picture with 20% loss during compression will yield a 200-300kb per picture at resolution 800x600 pixels

yea, like i said i set it to 1024kb liao...so far the quality of the pics look fine to me when i downloaded them... -

so boring..i rather do practical...
now teacher talking about photo angles and the shots.. taking notes

i wanna do photoshopCS...
...at least i can do something instead of taking notes...
at least i got a CMO theory later...get to copy down notes about the computer stuff

learn to see everything with a new perspective.. that makes photography interesting...
to be able to use your camera to capture more than meets the eye.. to use the macro mode to capture the details which everyone misses..
btw, photoshop can't change a picture.. it just enhances it... if your composition is wrong, photoshop can't do much for it... with good composition, all you gotta do is to use photo editor to resize and change the colours a little
