unless the lappys provide the same power as desktop, lightweight and can last at least 10-12hours running on batteries alone then i will consider -

well, a MacBook Pro runs about as well as a desktop (if not better coz it has a 2.16GHz processor while the iMac has a 2GHz processor)
everything else is the same except for the screen.. the iMac has a 20" and the MacBook Pro has a 17"
battery life is about 4 to 4 1/2 hours...
it's a MONSTER computer!
