it's really a pity few think that way... but they do get bored of the stuff much sooner than me.
it's like, if i find something really interesting, i'll stick around there for some time just to stare at it and figure out how exactly it works, and to think if i can do it at home. then my friends will be dragging me away to see some other thing.

anyway the stuff at science centre as i recall was more geared for kids. namely using some principle or science to make some flashy effects. meaning theres no real use or meaning to the exhibits.
+ as i recall there wasn't enuff explaination of the principles behind even if they were complicated -
