As for lack of trust, that has to be slowly build up. My parents trust me completely, because I'm don't like to go out and see the world. They want me to learn myself, forcing me to go out, that's where the trust came from. But I would rather stay at home or go cycling... -

There's no point arguing, both are too angry to think clearly. Usually, before I want something, I make sure I do some research first, have some plans about how to go about doing them and then discuss with them.
