a few things to be an F1 driver.. you have to be in the same cardio-vascular shape as a marathon runner.. your muscles must be extremely strong in order to handle the car, not only the steering wheel but also the G-forces.. a hairpin turn can generate up to 4.5Gs sideways.... acceleration and deceleration is intense... 0 to 200km/h and back to 60km/h in 4 seconds...
then there's the intense heat for up to about 1 1/2 hours in the car..
