Maybe drag here and there a while should be able to make it to 3 hours. With breaks, even more so. -

the best way to get those buggers ready for the listening test assuming their english is already ok is tog et them to listen to a person with british accent talk for hours. they will acclimitize eventually -

If you tell me American accent, then maybe need to wish the students good luck. Got a lot of problems trying to catch what they are saying. -

Practice test need one hour, but tutorials already more than two hours. Students barely ask questions till the last minute. Then it's like you talking only, a bit sian. My teacher also fall asleep this way. -

Don't know leh... see if they bombard you with questions at the end of the lessons, then you will know if it's shyness. Maybe Malaysia would be different, and that would shyness, or one more reason: they totally catch no sotong ball to whatever that is happening. And that would the worst case scenario. Will be a horror for you, and a very good experience to learn from.
Forget what my teacher did when it happened, but one thing for sure, extra lessons on the way.
