i've had enough of these people going around, deriding others for being happy and spreading their misery around..

i once told someone who said the same thing.. if you think so, why don't you just go kill yourself? stop wallowing in the muck of your own misery (it's pathetic) and go look for some happiness?
seems that people would rather be lazy and rant at the world, as if the world owes them a living, than do something concrete to be a better and happier person..
if they did, would they be "suffering" ?
there is a difference between existing and living... most people who lament that their lives are all "suffering" just exist... those who live, rarely have time to think about their "suffering" because they're doing stuff which is meaningful to them..
so.. the bottom line to me is that those who sprout "to live is to suffer" can't be bothered for themselves... yet have the energy to go spread this wet blanket of a "philosophy" to others...

i believe there are sufferings in this world, but yet there are also many things in life that we should be grateful for...
so maybe we shouldn't dwell on things that make us unhappy and cherish the things that make us happy instead...
i m glad that I got thru a very depressing period in my life earlier this year, with the help of many people of cos...and now I tend to look more into the happier things in my life
