i used to cook it..take me 2 hours plus
1st u need to slice up the onions..then sauteed it....for long long..till its caramelised.....then cook it somemore till its all broken up
after that u add some nice beef stock as soup base hence the brown colour
mm...smooth onion soup..not like tis pic where u can see bits n pieces of onion
