I just got a very nice email in my NUSmail account just now. I've been accepted into my specialisation of choice! Starting next semester, I'll be doing aeronautical engineering!
Woohoo... time to celebrate!

Go to the Straits Times classified section. Call up all the tuition agencies which are listed.
By the way, competition for tuition students can be particularly fierce. Most tutors are at least university undergrads. And parents tend to prefer female tutors.
Best idea? Call those agencies, but at the same time, call your relatives and ask them whether any of your younger cousins need tuition. -

I must admit that I have mixed feelings over this.... on one hand, I get a step closer to my near-lifelong of becoming an aircraft engineer.
On the other hand though, I'm forced to admit that this is one killer specialisation. The subject material is really, really tough, and it doesn't help that I'll be going up against eggheads with killer CAP scores who actually get disappointed when they get an A (because they couldn't get A+
).
And yeah, from what I heard, there will be a number of FTs from India and China in this specialisation.
It won't be easy, and I can't promise that I will be one of the best. But what I can promise is that I will strive to do my best in whatever I'm doing.
Wish me luck, guys - I'll really need it. It's a tough road ahead, and I'll take things as they come. Right now I want to focus on a more immediate concern - namely, my upcoming exams.
