thing is, the design is already there, they did the design for us a couple of years ago... we paid them a lot of money to design the thing and printed a lot of A4 and A3 sized posters for distribution to certain places..
now we need one hard, big A1-sized one.... they tell us they don't have the softcopy of the design anymore and must start from scratch, costing a couple of thousand bucks...
of course i'm not going for it..

A1 printing alone is not exp de just use the soft copy go those printing shops like at paradiz or something lor -
unfortunately, unlike some bigwigs, we're tight-fisted here..
it is a sacred duty to safeguard the $$$ which is not ours...
goodness knows i trod on many toes when i was my rec club treasurer.. i stressed out the president by arguing with him and putting my foot down on idiotic throwing away of the club members' money for frivolous things..
oh well... i have to write a paper today..

and you might consider scanning in a copy of the old posters.
anyway replicating a poster shouldn't cost as much as designing one and i really doubt they don't have the soft copy at the design company -

see if we have the softcopy.. if have, they're not getting the business.. we have a printer we usually use which is walking distance from the office.. which is good coz whatever they come up with, they usually walk over and ask us if it's okay.. then we do the amendments on the spot and they go change it...
a lot faster than vendors from the other side of singapore -

no man.. it was/is a job no one wants.. usually used as a political tool in the organisation to see if the person is "easy or hard" in order to "gauge" his value to the bigwigs...
ever since that treasurer stint, where i laid down the law and refused to budge on nonsensical spending, the bigwigs have had a negative view of me..

man.. what to do , maybe ur hardline styled is useful in a proper working environment n not at where alot of bootlicking is needed. But not necessarily lo~ -

Bear, try AD Innovations. They do things pretty fast.
I did some printing with them before. But they're in Amoy Street though.. -

sian, i need buy inner tube, the shop nearest and which also sells breakfast at the same market, bikeshop closes monday.
The other one, at bukit batok central, now is selling some "american brand name" tubes at $2-3.50 more than taiwan tubes.
The other other one is in gombak and does not have a direct bus there....
